Itty Bitty Tittie Committee

All this talk about BOOBS makes me wonder about my own. Specifically how they will change. I've read a lot of posts regarding changes in this particular area and the changing of your body shape as you lose significant amounts of weight.
I am one of those big girls with little boobs. I wear one of the smallest sizes in LB.... 40B. I hate hate hate it. Not so much my boobs, but the way it makes my clothes fit. I can't wear alot of blouses that wrap or dresses that have boob areas because it always looks deflated. I recently gave a beautiful dress to a friend of mine that I had for a year because I couldn't fill out the top. I kept it thinking that my boobs would grow from breast feeding but they did not. She wore it recently and I was so jealous of the obscenity of her cleavage.....I wanted to rest my head on them. I am glad that she loved the dress, but man oh man I want some boobs too. My husband likes to tease me and say that some of my bras are false advertising. I will only wear the Plunge bras from LB, otherwise I look like 10 year old girl.
Now that I am done complaining, I want to know how your body type, shape has changed after the Band. Are you still an apple, pear, etc? I have very large hips and quite a bootie. Will I always have that? I enjoy the curve of my hips and my "ass-et" but I would like a smaller scale. I sometimes buy tall pants (I am only 5'6) because I like to believe that my hips and ass make my pants short (I probably just need a bigger size, gasp.)

  1. I am not sure about everyone else but I have kept my aplle shape. My stomach was always my biggest are and it still is.
My moobies are still the same cup size but they are saggier. I am considering surgery on them when all this is said and done.

  2. I'm almost 2 years out and by far the only part of my body I'm even remotely discouraged by is my boobs. They were fairly large, but mostly with fat, before. They are quite deflated now BUT for some awesome reason the nipple gods blessed me and they are actually much perkier than they were before. Go figure. I am definitely going to want a lift at some point, maybe when I'm 35. The rest of my body pretty much shrank proportionally. I have always had a small waist, big butt, and big thighs. I still have all of those, just on a smaller scale. The best happy surprise is that my arms shrank quite a bit. That was always a big problem with me and I thought I'd have terrible bat wings.

    1. Perry I cannot wait to have smaller arms.... I hate that I have to go up a size in tops b/c of my arms. I wouldnt even complain (too much) about the bat wings, lol!

  3. Since it seems you carry your weight in your butt and thighs (based your on your description, not pictures) you probably won't lose much in the boob area. I carry MOST Of my weight in my stomach so I only lost about a cup in the boob arena and probably won't lose more but they do look deflated (but I blame that on breasfeeding). I was an apple 70 lbs ago and I'm an apple now. Hope this helps.

  5. If you're a pear, you'll always be a pear! :) And I'm with you - mine have gotten smaller since surgery (boobs)... but it's not too bad. They match my "new" body. And like you said, there's always false advertising.
